Google, which is already leading the AI race, is expanding its capabilities to keep pace with others. Google has now expanded Gemini's capabilities by adding AI-based song creation. This feature is based on DeepMind's new Lyria 3 model. Users can create songs, lyrics, and music directly within the app by entering simple text prompts.
So first, let's learn about Lyria 3. Lyria 3 is an advanced AI music generation model. It can create high-fidelity music tracks of approximately 30 seconds. This can include lyrics, vocals, instruments, and even fully produced audio tracks. This feature is integrated into the Gemini app and YouTube's Dream Track.
If you're planning to create songs with Lyria, all you need to do is enter the mood, theme, or style of the song, and Gemini will create a 30-second song in seconds, meaning you don't even have to bother writing lyrics. Gemini also automatically creates cover art for the song. And not only that, but if you simply upload a photo or video, the AI will create music based on that mood. So, just like that, you get clearer vocals, layered instruments, and better structure in Lyria 3. And if you want, you can customize the tempo, style, and vocal tone.
Previously, older AI music tools were limited to simple instrument clips. But Gemini is about to change the game, allowing for full song generation, lyrics and vocals, within the main app.
Earlier this feature was only for selected creators in America but now YouTube creators across the world will get AI music generation.
